Our sires play an essential role in the foundation of Foley Dachshunds. Each male in our program is carefully selected for his temperament, structure, pedigree, and adherence to the miniature dachshund breed standard.

Just like our dams, our sires are not kennel dogs—they are well‑loved, well‑socialized companions who live enriched lives and receive individualized care. We believe a great sire contributes not only correct conformation and movement, but also confidence, stability, and personality to the next generation.

Carefully Selected for Quality & Balance

Our sires are chosen with intention, emphasizing:

🐾 Strong pedigrees and consistency

Each sire is evaluated with long‑term contribution to the breed in mind, not just short‑term results.

Purposeful, Limited Use

We believe responsible breeding means moderation and purpose. Our sires are used selectively and thoughtfully, ensuring their well‑being is always prioritized and that each breeding is planned to complement our dams.

Some sires may be co‑owned or used through select outside stud agreements that align with our program standards.

Beyond the Show Ring

While structure and conformation are important, we value sires that are:

  • Affectionate and people‑oriented
  • Adaptable to both show and companion environments

Our goal is to produce miniature dachshunds that are as enjoyable to live with as they are beautiful to look at.

Bruno is an intelligent and active dog with a naturally curious nature. He enjoys chasing, exploring, and putting his sharp mind to work, while still maintaining an easygoing side. Bruno was raised here and is now placed with his breeder at Sweetnlow Dachshunds, with breeding rights retained. AKC DNA V10119113
